A few days ago, I got the following message while shutting down my computer:
What could this possibly mean? More importantly, if this is an indication of a serious securty breach, how do I kick these users out, while still being able to remotely control my computer?

The trouble with Activity monitor is that it lists all processes and their users but not which are logged on. My system currently shows a whole load of 'users', most of which are not logged on.
Apparently the Server version of OSX lets you do exactly that.
Interesting. I wonder whether it's worth upgrading to the Server version just to get access to more information about what the system is doing (ie who is logged on, etc.)

I was happy to find this post because, I have an ethernet network with 2 users but received the message that stated that 36 users are sharing this computer!
Others have said it well. Apple needs to tell us more with this dialog, like a list of who these users actually are.
Is there any way anyone has figured out to correct this anomally?
