How to record a phone call into garageband

I need to do a phone interview for my podcast. I've been fighting with this for an hour and cannot get it to work.

Here's the setup.

imac with Tiger (dome base imac)
garageband 3
Treo 650
M Audio Fast track mixer
Sound flower
Sound Flower bed
Radio shack wireless phone controller recorder

The phone recording controller is plugged into the phone and into the mixer (I also tried putting into the computer directly).

I followed some instructions I got about using soundflower with garageband to the letter as far as preferences go.

I get no sound at all.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions (besides go buy a iriver?)? This interview is HUGE for my show. How many grammy award winners am I ever going to get to call in. I guess I could get a skype in number but i heard that it's a little flaky.
