Can't connect my Epson Stylus SX445w wirelessly to my new Macbook Pro

I recently bought a macbook pro. I'm operating on Mac OS X Version 10.7.2. Yesterday I bought an epson stylus sx445w and installed all the drivers and followed all the instructions. However my computer doesn't seem to pick up any wireless printers in the vicinity so I can't seem to use it. Any help would be much appreciated!

Does the printer show up on the left side when you go to System Preferences > Print & Scan?

If YES then I would highlight your printer name on the left, then go to the bottom of that window and hit the "-" sign to remove it. Then hit "+" and see if the computer can find the appropriate driver for the printer.

Also there are very specific steps in the Setup Guide. Did you follow them exactly? You're not supposed to connect the printer to anything until Step 5.

Thanks for the quick response. No I'm afraid I did everything step by step, word for word and it still didn't work. Nothing at all appears in that panel under Print & Scan preferences. I might just call Apple on Monday and see if there's something on their end that I don't have set up correctly, like a connectivity issue that I haven't figured out or something.
