HOW TO FORMAT 4X6 INDEX CARDS

I need to print 4x6 index cards. I used them for song lyrics. I need to format a a 4x6 page and have it print out on the card, not the

not on the 81/2 x11 paper.

How do I do that?

Hi Marty,

Load some 4 X 6 cards into your printer, paying attention to the printer's instructions as to where they should feed from and how they should be oriented.

Then use File > Page Setup to pick the printer you are using and to choose the 4X6 paper size. This size will be available in the list of paper sizes if your chosen printer supports it.

File > Save and name your document, so you don't forget to do this later. 🙂

Fill out your first card and print it to see if you got the Portrait/Landscape setting correct. If you end up with the type oing the wrong way, change the setting, Save again and proceed with your project.
