how can I add roman letters like alfa, beta in pages09

Dear community

I use pages09, keynote09. and due to my work nature I have to write articles and prepare presentations, so I need to add alfa, beta, gamma symbols frequently, thankfully can anyone show me how to add such letters, thanks in advance

Go to the gear wheel at the top left, select customize, check the box for Greek, select Greek, find α and every other greek letter.

Sorry I didn't add that bit. Yes you are right, but once you have done that it works.
