how can i load a 8cm dvd into my drive ??

Hi


I am i being a little thick .... I have a sony handycam and it has 8cm dvd that i record onto.

How can i load these dvd's into my macbook pro, notebook ??


Please help

You can't. The MBP's slot-loading optical drive doesn't support nonstandard-sized discs at all.


If the camcorder has a USB or FireWire output, you may be able to use that to transfer videos from it to the computer. Alternatives include buying a tray-loading external optical drive that can handle the oddball discs, or transferring the videos to a computer that has an internal tray-loader, then transferring them to the Mac from the other computer wirelessly, via a USB flash drive or external hard drive, or via a burned standard-sized disc.
