Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT

Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

FaceTime Problem ?

Whenever I try to open FaceTime for Mac and write my username/password it says that "The server encountered an error procssing registeration, please try again later "

Please help !

Note : I didn't find com.apple.FaceTime.plist on preferences folder.

Note : It was working before 3 days.

Note : I use the last version of FaceTime.

I found the real answer, it's easy and quick. It worked for me.


1. Go to the apple in the top left corner of you screen

2. Click "Software Update"

3. There should be some updates with the java and such nothing spesificaly refferring to FaceTime

4. Once you have installed the update (no rebooting requiered) go to the apple in

the top left corner of you screen again and click "Log Out (your name)"

5. Then log back in

6. Open FaceTime

7. log in


Now your Done!!!!! simple as that no re-installation, re-booting, or hardcore encoding!
