How do you clean the headset jack?

USE THE TEETH BRUSH CLEAN IT BUT CAREFULLY PUT IT DOWN WORD THE JACK

1. Blow it out with canned, compressed gas (NEVER by mouth).

2. NEVER use a toothbrush as suggeseted above.

3. Get commercail electical contact cleaner - some come with an applicacator.

I would use a cotton swab. Do not get it wet, though.

Never do this - toothbrush bristles are too stiff and may damage the contact, even if you could reach them. And, how could you "put it downward in the jack"?. (No human sized toothbrush would fit.) Also, never a use brush that had been previously used on your teeth!!

Not a particularly good choice...too much chance of an errant piece of cotton getting stuck in there, creating a new set of problems. Compressed air is the best choice.
