when my web page is shown on a windows computer, the font changes... how come?
A PC does not always have the same fonts installed as the fonts that you used to build your website. If it doesn't, then it will use the next nearest one, which will make it look different when displayed.
That is why it is always wise to use web safe fonts such as Arial, etc., to try and ensure that this does not happen.
iweb has something called fontmapping, this is defined in one of its plist file.

now, it's depend on the font, you can use web safe font or not... it's up to you.
to use none web safe font, you can use css @font-face....
