how do i open an .inf file on my mac?
I have a CD with software on it I need to open, but it was made for a WIndows computer. Is there a way i can open this on my Macbook Pro?
The file type is an .inf file.

Just a guess:
I think an .inf file is a text script to install Windows software. So, you can READ the file, probably, by dropping it on TextEdit. But to use it you would have to be running Windows on your MBP.

The only way to open that CD is to install Windows on your Mac. You can do it with either Parallels or Fusion for emulation plus buying a copy of Windows. Another alternative would be Boot Camp which also requires a copy of Windows.
So now the question is the software on the CD worth all of that?
