How to copy a section of a web page? Shift command ?

Cannot remember the key combination to copy a small section of any web page. The result ends up on the desk top and can be printed from there.

Thanks

The word to remember is "shortcuts"; use that in the Finder Help to get to the lists of shortcuts, or Google for Mac OS X shortcuts. That keyword will get you to help text, and to various documents and web pages, including this Apple Support Article (Mac OS X keyboard shortcuts) (HT1343).

As for what you're remembering, that's one of the screen-capture sequences. Here are the common choices (from HT1343):

Shift-Command-3 Capture the screen to a file

Shift-Control-Command-3 Capture the screen to the Clipboard

Shift-Command-4 Capture a selection to a file

If you're capturing a particular application's entire display window, then select Shift-Command-4 and place the reticule over the window you want to capture, press space (the target window will highlight) and then click. You'll get the whole window you've highlighted.
