    what does it say when you try to add apps. Can u attach any screen shot or anything.

    For the time being, drag the apps that you have in your apps section in your iTunes library and drop them over your iPod area in iTunes.

     

    have you authorised your computer for this iPod yet.

     

    P.S. you can award points for helpful n correct answers but i sound greedy lol...:D

    just like when i sync songs, it says 'preparing for sync', then 'sync complete', and nth happened.

     

    i tried dragging the apps like manually managing the songs, and it doesn' work.  the 'dragging thing' only works for music =.=

     

    i have already authorised the computer

    do u think upgrading it to 5.0.1 will help? as i hv mentioned, i am now using 4.3.1, would it be the problem of a too old version that the iTunes cann't sync with it? my iTunes is currently version 10.5.2

    Both of them r very much in different versions. iTunes 10.5.2 supports cloud computing, photo stream n all whereas 4.3.1 may b d version installed when u bought your iPod.

     

    normally, in iTunes the .5 is same as the iOS device generations like earlier iTunes was on 10.4.x and since iOS 5 got released it became 10.5.

     

    Surely, you must update to 5.0.1as this will fix many version issues, my iPod is also on 5.0.1. Please backup and then install, but if you want to set your iPod as a new iPod, u can even do that.

    when i changed the iPod language to english, the appstore remained in chinese. this is weird, right? i thought it should also change into english.  how to fix this issue?

    Try update ing the software

    The 4th gen is the newest with iOS5

    There is a new iTunes update

    Tf all else fails, restart the iPod and posibely the iMac

    hi,

    as of my knowledge, there is no place to make changes in app store within iPod. it's all auto asp er your lanuguage and location.

     

    Well u can try a few things, go to settings>>general>>reset and try reset settings.

    Is your country in the app store on iTunes set to china?? If not n upper tip also doesn't work then it's better to call apple helpline n report the issue. they will tell what to do...

    Hi,

    I'm using an iPod touch 4G with IOS 5.1. I manually sync my iPod library when ever I need to transfer tracks randomly from PC.

    I've been doing this successfully with iTunes 10.5, but now as I updated to a newer version of iTunes, although I have selected the "manually manage music and video" check box in iTunes, whenever I try to drag and drop music from iPod to PC, selected items would not transfer and when the selections were dragged into the iTunes library the curse appears a restricted symbol. This is the first time I exprienced something like that. I assume it is not something to do with iTunes but some application setting. So what should I do now???IMG_0032.jpg
