How to install I life from version 10.4.7?

Hi every one,

So, When I both my I Mac it came with the Os Version 10.4.7 Dvd disk. About a months later the new version 10.5 came out, and the store gave an update disk.

Now, few years late I did Reinstall the 10.5 version ( update disk ), But it doesnt have I life.

I do have the full version 10.4.7 disk with me, each has the bundle software. But when I try to install I get the mensage saying some like that:

This software can not be install on this machine.

I tryed to reinstall the version 10.4.7 that has the bundle software. But I getting the same message.

Can any one help me. I just need to instal IDVD, I movie etc....

Does anyone else think 10.4.11 update (http://support.apple.com/downloads/Mac_OS_X_10_4_11_Combo_Update__PPC_) (direct download: http://support.apple.com/downloads/DL170/en_US/MacOSXUpdCombo10.4.11PPC.dmg) might need to be installed first?

Hi,

Yes I used it in 2007. I was checking I my old posts that I have on the Forum and I had the same problem in 2007. And On that Time I used Pacifc to REinstall iLife.

I tryed to reinstall iDvd separately this time. When it asked me if i want to replace some files I choose replace it.

Later on, I try to reinstall all the Bundle software. When it asked if I want to replace some files I choose No.

Now I have iMovie, iPhoto, etc only iDvd is not working

Ps: But it worked in 2007

Not for all the bundle. But for iDvd i tryed Yes and No

I think I did replaced some file that I should not on the first time. I try to install Quick time again. But did not work. my last bet will be reinstall all the OS again to install ilife using Pacific than not replace any files on the instalation. The problem is tha I have too many work on my computer to do that.
