Hi Fabricio, this should work.

Get Pacifist...

http://www.charlessoft.com/

then extract/install what you need from your Install Disc.

Pacifist should work, as long as any supporting libraries aren't missed.  This article;

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2271

Which was in the user tip I published says how to restore from the original discs.  If it fails to work, either the discs are damaged, the drive is damaged, or your machine needs a new PRAM battery.

I think if you want to be current and avoid issues you should consider buying iLife complete.

Read this user tip on iLife.

Once you verify which version is on your disks, make sure its system requirements overlap your currently installed operating system.   If not, check each version of iLife until you find the one that most reflects your operating system.

Note the iLife installer that comes with a Mac, should only in theory be installed on that Mac, until it is too updated to understand the iLife components needed.  If you have another Mac without iLife, or a version you want supported, you may have to find a retail copy of iLife somewhere that fits your needs.

    Hi Allan,

I am Really sorry, But maybe l havent explain it well. I do have the disk on my hand, that has the bundled software, ( Os 10.4.7 ) I need to instal the bundled software ( ILife)

I am running with the version 10.5 cause the store gave me a update disk few days later after I bought my computer. When the new version came out.

Now,  I reinstall the version 10.5 and I have no I life what I really need.

Buy a New I lfe is not the answer. Cause it worked  well all this years.

The problem is that I cant reinstall it. I tryed to reinstall the Version 10.4.7 to solf this. But I am Getting the same message.

I have all the disks in my hand. The only solution is reinstall every thing. Its a question of  principle.

PS: If you can´t solve the problem you have would you buy one easy solution, just because you don´t know how?

Thanks. I still hopping to fix it.

So the only solution that I have now is to Downgrade  from 10.5 to original version that came with the computer 10.4.7  and only after all done use the update dvd to 10.4.5 What do you think?

Thanks for the help and happy new year

What is the color of the 10.4 Install disc & the 2z691-****-A number on it?

  • fjunho Level 1 Level 1

    Hi,

The color is grew for sure the number I need to check.

I used the Pacific as you said. It worked for iMovie, iPhoto, etc but not for iDvd that I need to most.

It may be my foult. I tryed to Install iDvd saparately. It asked if I wish to over write some files that exist all ready on my computer. I said yes.

Result I getting the mesage saying this version of iDvd can´t work with this Os version

then I tryed again with all bundle Software and said No

Now all is working but iDvd not

Thanks  I will check the number
