iCloud mail on Kindle Fire

Just got a Kindle Fire. Trying to access my account on icloud.com to manage my mail with the Fire's browser has proved problematic. icloud gives an unsupported zoom level message and though I can select messages and view them in the preview pane, the action icons (delete, reply, etc.) won't operate. Chatted with 6 Amazon T/S people to no avail. Anyone had any luck, either accessing icloud.com on the Silk browser or setting up the Kindle e-mail App to access and deal with iCloud mail?

clearly, apple is trying to discourage access by none apple devices.

Clearly, Apple is trying to make sure your iCloud data is more secure.

Yes, an awkward typo. You are correct. There is no way for me to generate the app specific passcode (I said PIN for lack of the correct word).
