I can't delete an album on my iPhone 4

Anyone know how to delete albums that were synced from my computer?

I have deleted them before, so know it's possible, but for some reason, since the iOS5 upgrade, it's been made nigh on impossible. What am I doing wrong? I've followed everyone's advice in the support groups, but it's just not happening for me.....

Help? 😀

You are the one making stupid comment. I was reply to the OP problem and you bulge in insulting like you know better. You are also hijacking the thread. If the thread's tips and replies are not helping you, you can start another so it's not about you. Get it now? I have my points from helping other but not to an arrogant idiot who doesn't have any manners or etiquette and also name calling. This is my last reply to you. Like you said if you habe half a brain.

Let me see if I can ask an intelligent question. If I'm missing anything, please educate me. I have an iPhone 4 running iOS6 (just downloaded). I synch it to iTunes on a laptop running Windows 7, 64 bit. I have 3 Photo Albums,

  1. Camera Roll
  2. Photo Library
  3. ForPhone

I created the "ForPhone" album and I can play around with it, add/remove photos, etc. Regarding number 2 "Photio Library", is that one part of the hardwired iPhone software and as such protected in some way? I don't it when searching for it from iTunes and I cannot find a way to remove anything from it. It's not catastrophic. I just have to understand that whatever I put in there is permanent, or so it seems.

Michael!!!!! I got it. Either we We're not understanding or everyone here was not explaining it correctly I finally figured it out and did it here's what I did: Connect your iPhone to your PC allow it to sync and then open your iPhone under devices in iTunes. Then click on the photos tab. HERE IS THE BIGGIE WHERE EITHER WE DID NOT UNDERSTAND OR IT WAS NOT EXPLAINED CORRECTLY! Select or place a checkmark in the box next to" sync photos from". Then Underneath that you will find: all folders ,selected folders ,include videos click on "selected folders". It should then open up a folder box with any and all folders/ photos you may have on your PC that's also in iTunes. Make sure none of those photos or folders are selected. Then hit sync! A window will open up explaining and telling you what you are about to do and make sure you allow the operation to complete don't cancel it! don't worry nothing in your camera roll will be effected any and all photos/ folders you had previously synced onto your phone will now be erased and u can start from the begining again to sync photos to ur i phone. Ur welcome!!!

Photo Library (album/folder) came with the iPhone to house your photo events and albums you synced with iTunes. So Photo Library is the snapshot (photos that are checked) view of your iTunes' Photo Library. If the links are corrupted somehow, you need to restore from backup using iTunes (might help if backup has the links) otherwise restore as new without the backup. To put back missing links.

I think we're close to being in the same "album" (hah hah hah). How can I synch photos from a folder on my laptop into "Photo Library" on my phone without creating a duplicate of those photos in a new album (that has the folder name I searched for in iTunes)? What should I choose in iTunes? Here's the scenario: In iTunes, I check "Sync photos from:" and I browse to a folder, say "Stuff" that has 4 photos. When I sync my phone, those 4 photos come into "Photo Library" in my phone, but it also creates an album called "Stuff" with the same 4 photos.
