I have OS X Lion, but I want to know about OS X Snow Leopard. Is it a good idea to get OS X Snow Leopard if I already have OS X Lion?

Snow Leopard info,Lion info. Also, you probably can't install Snow Leopard if you bought a mac that shipped with Lion, although there is a slim chance.
I have one more question. When you buy PC games for mac from the store, on the box it says you have to have snow leopard or later, or downloading a game from Steam,which also says you need snow leopard or higher, and I have lion, will that work on my pc that came with only lion?
Yes, I am new to this, I just bought a new iMac that came with OS X Lion for Christmas.
Lion is the next step after SL, so I would guess "yes". But I know nothing of "Steam", so there may be other issues ... or not.
Steam is pretty much the online gaming network for windows and mac. Its like the computer version of Xbox Live or Playstation Network, You can visit there website at www.steampowered.com

Yes. You have Lion 10.7, and it says as long as you have at least Snow Leopard 10.6 it will work. In the future you may see things that say 10.4 or after etc. Als long as the number of your operating system is the same or higher, it will work.
