Hello so I just got a new iPad 2 for christmas and my dad was using it near my speakers it was like 60 Centi meters from it is there any magnetic damage done to my iPad i didin't notice any strange things but i just want to be shure. Thanks.
No, the speaker magnets are not that strong and should be shielded internally or they would distort any nearby video display.
Thanks for the reply Kappy the speakers are like a 2.1 with a fairly big sub so you are saying that ni damage was inflicted on the ipad ?
The Sub has a wood casing and the little speakers have a plastic one.
The sub may be physically large but the speaker magnet is not that large. No, you incurred no damage. You could put your iPad on top of the sub without a problem.
I'd agree with Kappy. Is your iPad working alright? Then there is no damage.
