A.pack will do this too. However, Compressor has supposedly supplanted A.pack.
What I'm trying to do is to quality check the ac3 files I created in Compressor? I need to convert the ac3 back to pcm to ensure the dialnorm was applied as it should and the downmix was created correctly according to the metadata applied to the file. I shouldn't need to go back to A.pack to do this.
I'm trying to do the same thing, but not to stereo, but to split up the AC3 file to it's own channels to left, center, right, left surround, right surround, and LFE.
I've done this before in A,Pack, but how to do it in compressor 2?
