where is my rented movie
I rented a movie and it says I did, where is it and how do I play it. It does not show up in the movies tab, this supposed to be easy. I just dont get it.

1. From the iTunes Home screen, You need to click on "Libraries" on the upper right navigation bar under the "Search store" box
2. On the next page, click on the pull down menu (Music is the default) on the upper left and select "Movies"
3. Now in the middle of navigation bar, click on "Rentals"
All your rentals will then appear.
This is a major workflow flaw from Apple. Good at hardware, awful at software application flow design.
I hope this helps. All previous instructions by people on this thread are totally incorrect or outdated.
It should appear on the row of icons/movies that appear along the top of the Apple TV display (when you are at the starting level of the menu system -- you can "jump" to this level of the menu system by holding down on the remote's "MENU" button for longer than two seconds).
If it doesn't appear there then something is amiss OR you have waited too long to view the movie (you have 30 days to start the playback or 24 hours once you've begun playback).
Have you found the answer to this yet? I too went through the rental process
I had to even put in my security code for credit card, but now I look for the movie
and its not there. but if i try to choose rent again it says I already rented it.
I too just dont get it. Can someone help?
Nice reply but I'm suffering the same issue and the Apple TV 2 queue informs me I have no rentals. Yes it downloaded. Yes I paid for it.
I went to my account -> Purchase History and clicked on "Report Problem"
Me too. Apple the master of User Experience??
If I try to rent it agaon, I get told to go Settings > Downloads. There is no downloads menu.
If I go iTunes > Check for Rental I just get the spinning waste of time icon.
Maybe I'll try Amazon next time
Try going to settings - General - iTunes store - check for rentals
I did try that. I tried going back again to choose rent and said yes this time I wanted to rent it again. Well this time it showed up, I hope I dont get charged twice.
I had the same problem, I was trying to find mine in the iTunes app - I found mine using the Video app in the end! Good luck!
That relates to finding rentals within iTunes, this thread is about rentals on Apple TV
