Hi I'm trying to upload photos to istock using iphoto 7 and each time it times out. My internet connection is not fast but I do manage to batch upload to other sites. Grateful for any help. Gareth.

You need to tell us more
1 - there is no iPhoto 7 - do you mean iPhoto '08 version 7.x.x?
2 - there is no facility within iPhoto to upload to random sites - only face book,, etc - how are you uplaoding? Using a browser? Using some third party plug in?

Thanks for getting back to me.
Sorry, yes it is a plug in provided by iStock photo library. It's called iPhoto 7, you download it from them and it should allow you keyword and export images directly from iPhoto to iStock. The software loaded fine and appears to funtion correctly in iPhoto in terms of adding titles, keywords etc. However, when I select the images and export, it comes up with an error message after a few minutes and says the connection to iStock has timed out.
My settings on the Mac are set not to go to sleep so it's not that. I get internet via satalite, so it's not the fastest, and they are large files, about 10 mb in size, per photo, but I do manage to upload to other sites. Some times 20 images at a time. It will take a couple of hours, but it gets there in the end.
Safari is my browser.
My Mac is loaded with iPhoto 08, which, according to iStock should be fine.
Any ideas???
