I accidently hit Don't Allow for location service when it popped up in Instagram and I'd like it to be able to post my location but I can't seem to find it under location services to be able to turn it on, anyone know how or should delete and reinstall the up on my phone? Thanks!

I had the same issue (Instagram not showing in the "Settings > Privacy > Location Services" folder.
I got it to show by going to one of my Instagram photos:
- Tap on the "..." button
- Tap "Edit"
- Under your name, it should say "Add Location..."
- Once you tap that, you will get a pop-up message asking you if you want to turn on Location Services.
Et voilĂ !

It is kind of strange, but I had this problem with my instagram account: all my location services were on and it still wasn't able to fetch locations. I read somewhere I have to unlink my facebook account. I unlinked it and then linked it again and it worked
Hi. I am having the same problems you were having. Instagram is not listed under location services. Can you please tell me what you did to fix it? Thank you!
Even Instagram help tells you to go just to Privacy > Location Services (on/off) but really got to Privacy>Photos. You will see all your Instagram options there.

can you help me in another situation?
I am not getting number of notification on my Insta icon on main page (i have iPhone 6s). only when i enter in to my insta, i see 10-12 likes and comments.
for eg- on FB icon, i can see there is 6 notification in red color but that is not the case with insta

Assuming IOS5 . . .
Open the settings app.
Tap "Location Services"
Find "Instagram" in the list.
Toggle Location Services "ON" for "Instagram".
I had this same problem. Finally worked when I logged out and back in. Must have been a glitch. (Aug 2016)

OK I found it, I had to turn on location within the app after taking a photo and then it began showing up under location services.

Yes Paul I saw that but it doesn't make sense. I went into Instagram and took a pic to try and follow those steps but there was no location option to turn on
