Computer listed in Finder. How do I remove?

In the Finder my friends computer is listed under 'shared'. I can connect to it, by selecting it. I don't want it listed in the Finder and I never want to connect to it in the future. How do I remove it from the Finder? I have disabled file/screen sharing in settings. My user/groups settings don't include this person.

Please help.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8), Intel Core i3 3.2Ghz

nashyo is right. The computer that appears in the sidebar of Finder DOES NOT have to be on your local network. He has seen this, I have seen it, dozens of people have seen this. It's all over the web. We need someone who understands the process of a computer adding itself (you do not have to add it) to your sidebar and so far, none of you have a clue.

Although hiding the item might satisfy nashyo, it wouldn't satisfy me. I would still want to know how the computer added itself, and how to block computers from adding themselves.
