Anyone had an increase in SPAM after switching over to iCloud?

I'm posting this inquiry in hopes to find out if anyone else is experiencing an increase in SPAM to their MobileMe or iCloud email accounts, AFTER switching from MobileMe to iCloud service. Granted, I'm not getting bombarded a lot, but none the less, I've been sending more SPAM reports back to Apple for blocking senders due to the increase of SPAM I've been getting after switching to iCloud. Anyone out there experiencing the same issues, please reply, and to Apple Support... ***??????? I'm starting to think iCloud was a bad idea.

this post is a bit dated, but I thought I'd give it a try before starting a new one. I got virtually no spam, I don't even remember one, to my me.com address until about a week ago, now 8-10 a day from people withe made up names, I wonder a. Are others experiencing an increase in spam, and b. (And this probably belongs in a different thread) Is it just a coincidence that Apple has offered me an alias with .icloud?? this week?

Hi,

yes. I, indeed, keep getting significantly more spam after switching. interestingly from the Latin American-region (I'm in Europe).

Also, my secret and never used mac.com alias got used for spam which really really concerns me.

Something is wrong here. Please also see the thread I had opened. Curious as to whether Apple takes that seriously.

SPAM has increased substantially in the past few weeks for me. First, I had problems with comcast.net mail and made a stink and the spam has ceased. But now it seems to have switched to my .me account and iCLOUD! How do we get rid of it? It's going in my JUNK folder in Outlook and shows up online in the Junk folder, but on my iPHONE and iPAD there is no such folder for it. They have got to get their filters straight! How do we notify APPLE of the problem? Anything other than forwarding to spam@me.com as someone previously mentioned? That's the first I'd heard of that and will try in the future. I just dumped about 10 SPAM messages when I got home. They've really got to get their act together! Frustrated and saddened by Apple's lack of support on this issue.

I am so sick of receiving large amounts of spam almost every day that I'm thinking of discontinuing using my .mac address indefinitely. Changing my password several times didn't make a difference and I really don't think Apple cares at all. I've been with Apple since 1984. I love the hardware. Mostly I'm very disappointed in the software. How do I report this directly to Apple?
