iTunes remote app makes iTunes DJ and all playlists editable

Hi,

As far as I can see there is no iTunes DJ in ATV2 using the remote app, so, another option is to remotely control iTunes itself and use Airplay to send music to ATV, this works great and iTunes DJ can be used BUT this makes all playlists editable - if I were to open this up at a party then my playlists could easily get corrupted.

Anyone else have any ideas on using remote app + ATV2 + iTunesDJ?

It seems this functionality is available but only for iPod/iPhone. iTunes DJ can be accessed in 'guest' mode from iPhone which will allow users to queue songs and optionally rate them but only the 'host' can move/add/edit songs in the playlist.

This is exactly what I am after but it is not available on iPad! I don't know the reason for this or whether there are plans to update the iPad Remote app, but if anyone has any input I'd appreciate it.
