no
It depends on what "4G" you mean. There is no industry-wide definition for what constitutes "4G". AT&T considers their current HSPA+ network to be "4G, and the iPhone 4S will support that now. Other cell carriers consider LTE to be 4G, and support for that will require a new iPhone.

I appreciate your explanation. Verizon in my location just announced 4G which must be LTE. When you said new iPhone for LTE I assume you are referencing the promised next generation iPhone 5.
Verizon's "4G" network is indeed LTE.
When I mention support for that technology requiring a new iPhone, I am not referrring to any particular model. None of us here know when Apple might include LTE in an iPhone. And just to be clear, no "iPhone 5" has been even mentioned by Apple, much less promised. We can I think safely assume that there will be a new model of iPhone that could be considered an "iPhone 5" at some point, though when if will appear, what features it will include, nor whether Apple will actually call it that is unknown.
Regards.
Yes my iPhone 4S upgraded to 4G network on My Family Mobile - powered by T-Mobile. Only at Walmart for $40/monthly on webpage as http://www.walmart.com/cp/Family-Mobile/1076544 if you want one...
Digging up a 1.5 year old thread is rather pointless.
Also, like AT&T, TMO considers their HSPA+ network to be 4G. Just in the last couple months has TMO even started rolling out LTE.
