Paypal button in iWeb site

You need to save it back into your .mac space. In TextEdit (or your favoured editor), go to File > Save, select your iDisk in the left bar, and navigate to Web/Sites/iWeb/yoursitename and save yourpage.html.

I tried this but the code i got from paypal is just that code now an http: compatible page so when I try to enable hyperlink to external page I just get an error, can anyone help with this?

Hi Kevin I followed your steps however I am having problems pasting the paypal code into the inspector url. Wehn I paste in the code it shows up but after I save and click off of the link the url reverts back automatically to the livepageapple url. Any ideas on how to prevent this.

I think iWeb Enhancer is the best option for adding anything in a page made with iWeb. Got it a couple of days ago and I've already made about 30 buy now buttons, a checkout button and even added a website search box with it.

This is a bit late and perhaps VERY OBVIOUS, but I'll share it anyway.

Copy the image of whatever button that you want to place into your page (I did this with the Donate button) from Paypal. Then, paste the copied image into your page. Then follow the instructions that Kevin gave above for making the object a link. It works like a champ and the image on the page is the familiar Paypal button.

I want to make a small meat business website and have a shopping cart with "buy now" buttons for different meats and packages, along with a checkout. Can I do all this with iWeb Enhancer? Do you use paypals shaopping cart system? And Last can i see a link to you site with your "buy now" buttons.

Even after reading through all of the decriptions and info posted I cannot resolve the displacement of the Buy Now button. I put a text box on the page with PayPalHTML in it. Published to a folder. Opened it with Text Editor replaced the above text with the copied HTML from Pay Pale site. Saved. Then I preview it and the button is there but is at the upper left corner. This happens everytime. Can anyone explain the step that I seem to be missing???

actually instead of iwebenhancer, i would use massreplaceit. i've tried both products and they do EXACTLY the same thing (and it seems by the same methods too).

the big difference? massreplaceit is free (and more customizable AND can be used on more than just iweb)!!!

use it to add html, paypal buttons, google adds etc. etc. without using another html editor or going into your html files yourself.

this website teaches the basics to iweb. honestly IMO if you are going to fiddle with iweb more than what is located in this website than you have pretty much defeated the purpose of iweb-> ease of use.
