How to Print [complete] Discussion/Thread

My Preview is set to Open Groups of files in the Same Window. Isn't that what its supposed to be. I don't have Adobe Reader and maybe that is what is needed, but I think I can do without it for now . I'm just hoping that I'm not going to need to print a long thread for a while. and will make sure my email notification stays on so I can be notified if someone has an answer for us. I just tried it again with this thread which is now 2 pages long and I get 7 pages for printing (because of all the inserts I guess) but it ends at the last post of the discussion's page 1.

OK, I am supremely humbled. I guess I hadn't tried that since the new forum software kicked in. Here's what fellow volunteer Ronda Wilson reported in:

I found early on in the new forum software that there was no way to get an entire multi-page thread in one fell swoop, and also that PDFs of a single page (if you're in threaded view, anyway) are a horrible replication of the page.

I now save things as a web archive (in Safari). But in a multi-page thread, it's page-by-page.

It's not Lion-dependent. It's just that way.

Thank you for checking into this. Maybe this can go on that list of things that need to be changed. At least its good to know that it isn't something that we're doing wrong. Its just something we can't do. I hope if they can get that fixed, that they will let us know when printing multiple pages is possible. That really would be a helpful feature, especially when you are trying to follow a series of steps to fix a problem, a printed sheet is useful.

So glad they do have a forum though!
