Can't login to App Store

Clearly my Apple ID works as I'm typing this now, but the App store won't accept my password from this Mac. I can access the App store with my Apple ID through my iPad2, though.

Any thoughts?

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.2), 30" Cinema, airport extreme

Hi.

I'm currently having similar problem with AppStore app login.

The login process simply takes ages with no result. You know, the progress circle or "star" keeps spinning, and that's it.

Any assistance on this one, please?

I have late 2011, mc700, 10.8.5 os version
