unkown error when trying to log in id for app store or app download. please help
That is what the screen says, Unknown error? If not, what is the exact error. Have you ever tried to log into the App store from the phone?
Mine does this too. All mine say is unknown error.
Try this Apple support document http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2731 and see if that helps.

I just got this phone today and didnt know what was going on, but i just got off the phone with apple. They said that they think they are having propblems with the app store and itunes because there was multiple people with the same problem calling them.

There suppose to contact me tomorrow, so ill let you know whats going on if its still not working.
