OS X Lion 10.7.2 (11C74)

My flash keeps crashing. My macbook (not pro) was purchased 2010. I had snow leopard and I just downloaded lion to sych with my iphone. my flash keeps crashing & I get beach balled to death. Is there an easy/simple fix or do I have to visit the apple store because I am not very mac savy 😊
