How to check on waranty status?

Hello everyong,

How can I check wether my still is still on waranty or not.

I got my system about 3 years ago and got the extended waranty with it( the 3 year one).

Now I like to check if the system is still on waranty or not.

The other question I have is, does the waranty cover the batter and power adapter or not.

Thank you all.

You bought your system about 3 years ago - battery will most certainly not be covered, I think that it is only a year they will warranty it.

Click this link: http://www.apple.com/support/

On the right hand side about half way you will see "About Your Support Coverage" type in your serial number and it will give you how many days you have on your support.

Apple accessories, including the battery and the power adapter are covered by the extebded warrabty, just as the PowerBook itself. The first 3 serial number numerics indicate the week and year of manufacture. For example, "304" would indicate the 30th week of 2004 - it's an easy way to estimate the warranty coverage.
