Try this first - quit iTunes, reboot your PC and then try again and see if the iPad is recognized after that.
Tried this several times. Still doesn't show up.
I have the same problem and can't find help in this useless trouble shooting website. And the support people don't work past 8 pm. What a joke!
First, I would suggest next time please make a new thread.
Did you just recently update your iTunes? And are you on a PC? If so, try going into the control panel, programs add/remove programs and uninstall iTunes, apple mobile device service and apple applicator support
Then redownload and reinstall iTunes
Try again. If that doesn't work there are more in depth fixes on the forum.
I have tried all the support stuff I can find and no joy.
The diagnosis show ITunes knows my Ipad from the 28th Dec. but will not now detect it.
What are the in depth fixes?
