my iphone 4s I want to delete all contacts

my iphone 4s has most contacts listed 3 times. I have corrected this in icloud and ithe list is now stored (as corrected) on my Mac. I want to delete all contacts on my iphone. does anyone know how to do this?

Easiest & fastest way:


First, Address Book>File>Export>Address Book Archive...save to your desktop. Then delete all your contacts in Address Book. Make sure Address Book is empty. Launch iTunes, connect your phone, on the Info Pane, select sync contacts with Address Book, hit the Apply/Sync button. All the contacts on your phone should be erased. Eject your phone, quit iTunes, launch Address Book: File>Import...select the Archive on your desktop.
