I have Pages 5.5.3 on the new MacBook. I need to remove table formatting. I could not find the "Convert Table to Text" option in Format > Table drop down.
Did they remove this option from the newest Pages?
Thanks, Barry
Try this on a duplicate of your file to be sure it produces the desired results and you don’t risk your original file: Select the entire table, then Format > Table > Convert Table to Text.

Pages v5 is not based on Pages '09 v4 which the older posts in this thread applied too. Consequently, Pages v5.5.3 does not have a convenient table menu item to do two-way table to text conversions.
See this post on how to accomplish this in Pages v5.5.3.
Thank you so much! It woked.
🙂
You're welcome. Glad it did what you needed.
