Hi,
I'm putting a book together with portraits (photo's), audio and text. But when I have transferred it to my iPad I can't tap the photo to make it fullscreen. I can pinch it but it won't 'stick'. It seems simple but it doesn't seem to work only in gallery but I have just one portrait on each page.
Anybody an idea?

That seems not really necassary because I already get the fullscreen photo after your first recommendation but I'll try and see what the difference is.
But a big problem for me with viewing images full screen by using this widget method is that the image can't be zoomed and repositioned when full screen (when you pinch and release it snaps back to full screen). I've inserted a high resolution map into my iBook and I'd like users to be able to pinch/zoom and move around this map image just like you can with images in the Photos app on iOS.
Ah, well I see your point. For me it's not really necessary to have my viewers scroll around in the picture but in your case that would be handy. If you find a solution though I would appreciate your tip.
I would try the Interactive Image widget. You wouldn't be able to have the end user pinch and zoom to a specific location on the map, but you can set predefined areas of interest that, when tapped, would zoom in (and you get to set the zoom manually).
