no sound on ipad2

Hi,

I had this sound problem for my ipad 2 about a month now. It happend about a week after ios6 updating. I have tried many solutions and tips including restoring the defaut settings. But still no sounds! Will the Apple please provide a solution!

I followed your procedure Val E Um for the headphone socket and it worked! Thanks!!
