Has anyone experienced download failure with Fringe Season 4 Enemy of My Enemy episode?

I have purchased the season pass for "Fringe" season 4 (2011-2012) and I am having a problem downloading a specific episode - "Enemy of My Enemy" which aired Friday January 20 and was available for download on Saturday January 21. I have been completely unable to successfully download this episode - and only this episode. Since the first failure, iTunes has successfully downloaded the following items, all also purchased via a season pass: "Criminal Minds" (air date 2012-01-25), "Big Bang Theory" (air date 2012-01-26), and the latest episode of "Fringe" (air date 2012-01-27).

I have submitted a support request to Apple and have received so far one response - I have attempted all of the suggestions and reviewed the link (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2384) and nothing has worked. I have attempted to download the episode to a Windows 7 machine - same failure. I have attempted to download the episode to a different Mac - same failure.

The end result of each attempt has been either an error "50" or an error "8008" after approximately 500 Mb of the episode is downloaded (out of approximately 1.4 Gb total). I have changed the download from an external drive to an internal drive, and still get the same error.

Only this one episode of this one show am I experiencing failure.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, and I would especially appreciate hearing either from anyone experiencing the same problem with this episode, or anyone who has successfully downloaded this episode.

Thank you.

The current season of Fringe (4) now downloads without issues, at least none for me. Thanks to all of you for your input. I re-purchased the Season Pass and everything downloaded safely overnight, thru "The End Of All Things".

Of course, I'm still awaiting Apple to tell me the problem has been fixed at their end.....😉

And I'm still experiencing iTunes telling me it cannot play an episode because it requires some version of QuickTime, which is solved by quitting iTunes, launching in 32-bit mode, relaunching the episode, having iTunes tell me a white lie about being unable to play the episode because my machine is not authorized while the episode starts playing, re-quitting iTunes, launching in 64-bit mode, and then relaunching the episode at which point it plays correctly. I'm using iTunes 10.5.3 - perhaps I should file another bug?

Happy Hunting, and May The Fringe Be With You!

Cheers,

I don't watch Fringe. But, I was getting a -50 error whenever I attempted to download one episode of a tv show season; the other 12 episodes downloaded fine. I tried everything (deleting the folder, reinstalling, removing cache, removing firewalls, etc...). But only continuously pausing/resuming the download (before the error could pop up) actually worked. Thanks Joe Kissell!
