How to find books created by iAuIthor in store?

I think the new textbooks and iAuthor are great. But I have noticed that most books that are enhanced and require iBooks 2.0 or later or created in iAuthor are not in the textbooks section of the store. This is confusing to me as if I am searching for some of these books with the advanced features like the flash cards and other interactive things, I don't know how I would search for those, they seem to be mixed with older type of interactive books.

I have found an enhanced books section, but that has older books that would work under iBooks 1.3 also. Is ther any way to find books that are the newly created ones that require iBooks 2.0 and use the iAuthor templates?

(Many ofnthe people I know also want to know this. It seems weird to me that Apple would have missed such an obvious thing.... )

iBook, iOS 5.0.1, iPad 2, iAuthor

I think that "author" only got text and do not even got a suitable book cover.

My friend.

Drag and drop can be different things depending on how you manipulate the mouse on selection.

If you ae selecting an image on a web page get right next to it, click and drag mouse across it to highlight.

You should see a slight change indicating the image was selected.

Then click on image and hold the mouse button down as you drag.

Drag to your desktop to make sure you have just an image and not a 'text clipping".

Drag that image to IA or any other RTFD you choose.

But when I opened iTunes and looked for Enhanced Books I found them. But is this multi-step procedure how people are supposed to find our books?

I had two Kindle Singles published and whether they sold depended almost entirely on whether Amazon put them in a prominent place on its site. I am going to a heck of a lot of trouble (fun too so far) to create an iBook but now I am wondering how I can expect anyone to find and buy it. Am I missing something?

Looks like textbook is just for the "big boys"

"Congratulations, your book is now available on the iBookstore in the category you submitted.

While your book was submitted for consideration as a textbook, the textbook category is only for books designed for wide use in education."

I guess we are stuck drilling through every title in topics that interest us looking for interactive titles. Personally the old ePub stuff doesn't thrill me much, I have a Kindle and it works fine for reading eBooks. I for one would love to check out iBA titles and I'm sure that there are potential shoppers that would feel the same way. oh well...
