I am trying to get rid of my name that displays in all caps in my G-Mail sender name along with my e-mail address. Have deleted my full name everywhere I have found it and think it may be in my Apple and not in G-Mail. HELP!

I have found the culprit. When I go to add account, whether on aol or gmail, my full name appears in all caps. I delete it, add another name or no name, and it automatically appears the next time I go to add accounts. have deleted 2 email accounts, added them back, and the all cap name still appears on gmail.
True, makes no sense, but try making a new identical account except at the 2nd step I believe where it says Description you need a slightly different entry.
Or put something you want in that entry besides a blank. 🙂
The only description I saw was at the server outgoing info, which was blank, so I typed in something. Created new account (would not let me duplicate without deleting existing info), and it still shows all caps in my full name. Thanks for your suggestions.
Went back to apple preferences - accounts - and saw address card - changed name (have done before) added e-mail address, and it seems to be working without all caps now - have tried this before, but obviously I did something different this time.

This is the field that has to be unique, everything else can be identical...
Two places it could be, check your card in Address Book, the only other place would be System Preferences>Accounts, but far less likely there.
No card in address book and I have already deleted full name in system preferences - accounts. Thanks for the reply.
Is it perhaps from your Apple ID?
Have you tried making a card for ypou in AB?
It is definitely on my computer. IPad doesn't do it and my Android phone doesn't. Not my Apple ID. Think I will delete mailbox and add back and see what happens.
After doing that, can you go to Mail Preferences>Accounts?Axxount Information & change the Full Name??
Did that a long time ago - deleted full name and didn't put anything in that space - makes no sense
