My book was published today on itunes!

On my book's page it says:

Requirements: This book can only be viewed using iBooks 2 on an iPad. iOS 5 is required.

I've noticed on other books it's possible to download and view it using Mac, iPhone, and even iPod touch. Why is mine not able to be downloaded on these platforms? I do not recall an area where I had to check what it could be viewed on, I certainly would not have restricted it to the iPad only, is it an inner iTunes restriction? And if so, how would I bypass so that it is viewable on all platforms? Thanks!

There are now versions of book

So version 1 of the book is in iBook format

I can't see any reason why version 2 couldn't be in ePub format

This way the current book would be replaced, and I'm assuming would then be available o iPhone iPod touch users.

You can download a book to your Mac using iTunes, but I don't think you can read it on a Mac, you have to transfer it to an iOS device - I don't know why they won't let you read it on the mac, apart from they want to sell more devices!!!
