HI Rick,

Numbers prints whatever is visible on the sheet.

There's no way I know of to show the Sheet names on the sheet other than manually entering it into the Page Header (or Footer), into a Text box placed on the sheet, or into a cell on or more of the tables on the sheet. Or you could include the Sheet name as part of a Table name, and choose (in the Inspector) to show the table name.

thanks for the info, Jerry. Believe it or not, Numbers just doesn't work as well for me as Excel. I find it way less flexible, it wants to force me into the way it wants things done (it tries to think for me), and many of the complex formulas I used in Excel do not work in Numbers. On the other hand, I love my Macbook for everything else. 😎

Hi Rick,

"Believe it or not, Numbers just doesn't work as well for me as Excel."

I don't find that difficult to believe. If you need the functions supported by Excel and not by Numbers, then Excel is the tool to use. OTOH, your finding of 'more flexible' translates, at least in part to 'more familiar.' All applications, Excel included, force you into certain paths.

Barry
