Cannot Print canon C5030

Dear all,

We have a Canon C5030 in the company that I work (I am from the IT are) and I just cannot make the MacBook Pro from the design guy to use this print.

I tried first the driver CanoniR-ADV C5030/5035 PS. In this case, I can clearly see the print request arriving in the Canon, but after it is received, it is automatically denied/deleted (detenido in spanish).

After I tried the generic drivers (PostScript generic and PCL generic), but both of them do not arrive to contact the print server.

The MAC OS is a 10.7 Lion and I am running as admin.

Any suggestions?

Regards,

Pedro Paganela

Hi,

I downloaded and installed it, but unfortunately it did not work. When I try the PostScript or the PCL Generic, both give the follow error in the printer: PDL IMG Invalid Data

Also, to the specific printer's driver (i.e. Canon iR-ADV C5030/C5035 PS), it is even worse, the macbook pro sends the request and the printer does absolutely nothing.

Any other suggestion? Thank you for helping.
