BBC iPlayer app problems after 10.7.3 update

After upgrading to 10.7.3, the BBC iPlayer application will not play videos in full screen any longer, the sound still plays but the screen is just black. Videos continue to play correctly when the application is in normal window-ed mode.

This is on a 2009 Core2Duo MacBook Pro 5,2.

Anyone else seeing this? And, if so, any ideas for a solution? Maybe we just have to wait for BBC to update iPlayer.

I have Mac book pro late 2011 and the problem is definitely after the latest upgrade.

Nice of apple to say not there problem as due to 3rd party software yet they issued the upgrade, one wonders why bother upgrading as all problems stem after upgrades I have turned off upgrade and will wait a few months and see a when the problems are sorted as clear they all blame each other rather than sort out.

one wonders if the yever test new upgrades !!!!

Three weeks since the BBC black screen and no one has "fixed" anything. Wondering whether Apple is using the 10.7.3 upgrade to try put Adobe out of business, or are Apple's developers simply not as good as they were 10 years ago? And I'm also surprised by the BBC's complacency. I shan't trust Apple's future upgrades; I'm going back to my trusted iMac G5...

I was very relieved to find I'm not the only person having the full screen problem with iPlayer. Thanks to this discussion and Time Machine, I successfully reverted to Lion 10.7.2 . As a result, the full screen problem is fixed.

I'll watch out for the official word from Adobe / BBC before trying to upgrade Lion to 10.7.3 Good to see that Adobe are testing something.
