10.0.3 DISASTEROUS

I stopped using TM years ago so maybe that's why my archaic iMac (April 2008), cluttered with 155 installed apps hasn't experienced any of these problems.

Did I refer to my iMac as "archaic" Karsten.

My latest state of the art equipment seems to be completely bug-free as long as I keep the wick trimmed.

Well I wasn't being completely truthful when I claimed it was totally bug-free . . . . it has had an infestation of woodworm.

ultraHDef (I assume beyond 4k?), very large display (beyond 27"), and just slightly bigger than a RED Scarlett... impressive!

I've not tried it with FCP X. I'm still using it with Final Cut Studio 3.

I'm not saying it's completely trouble-free but I like to remain positive and give it my best shot.

bill33, is the program you are referring to that fixed your prolbems, Digital Rebellion's Pro Maintenance Tools? I Have been using the Quick Fix app for a month now, but be aware that it resets FCS 3 apps as well. Quick Fix helped me when things in FCP X just went bonkers, I did use it right after FCPX 10.0.3 came out and it solved slowness and bugyness when I updated all my projects/events.

Not many people mention the Pro maintenance tools, most likely due to the fact that pref manager is free and works well in most situations.

So Bill, what was the magic program you used that fixed your issues, at least with regard to FCP X 😉 that is.

@Wild Giles and @Andy Drefs ...Yes Digital Rebellion's Pro Maintenance Tools. Using Quick Fix, just like you said after updating to 10.0.3 from .2 in between projects in FCPX, that helped me grandly!

There's no one from Apple policing these forums.

If you look at the bottom of each response you will see "Report Post".

If you click it you will be given the opportunity to say why it is inappropriate and the message then gets sent to a forum moderator.

I've had loads of completely innocuous posts pulled over the years . . . can't imagine why?

If you are making $$$ at FCP X, I strongly suggest getting "PRO MAINTENACE TOOLS".
