Deleting Pre-Packaged Apps
How do you do this? They don't have the red X's like other apps. Do you have to "jail break" it or whatever?
You can't delete built-in apps, they are part of iOS.

So you are just stuck with them?
Yes, only apps that you download can be deleted. If you want them to be less visible then you could put them into an app folder that you rarely use, or just move them to your last homescreen.
Thats actually how I have them right now haha, it just drives me crazy having this annoying pile of apps that I'm never going to use. Do you know if they are working on a fix for this?
There is nothing to "fix".
This was by design, not a bug.
Tell Apple you wish to see this as a feature. They probably will not implement it but it's worth a shot.
If you use these apps I'm sure you feel that way but other wise it is definitely something that needs fixed.
Which apps are you referring to? If it is YouTube you will end up using it eventually, someone will send you a link to look at.
Whether you want something or not, it only needs a fix if it is broken - you want a change. As to whether there is any word on whether this will change, anybody who would know about such a change would not be allowed to tell.
It is broken though because there is no way to make changes that people will obviously want to make. Saying you designed something to intentionally be broken doesn't make it any less broken.
Well, the fact remains that nobody here can do anything about it. The best you can do is send feedback to Apple. We're all users like you.
