i did the update 10.7.3 using my soft ware update do i need to run the 10.7.3 client combo also?

If you are not experiencing problems, then there is no reason.
Sometimes software update "burps" and it sometimes takes the
combo update, which contains every file that has changed since
the intial Lion release, to fix it.

Hi folks. I downloaded and installed the 10.7.3 update through the regular update channels. After install on my MBP 15" all was well. But on my 2011 iMac 27" I could no longer open Mail, iCal or Address Book. (Could in my wife's account but not in mine.) Every time I would try to open them they would immediately crash. I had no problem rolling back using Time Machine, so it really only cost me a couple hours work. But here's the problem: Did it TWICE to prove it was the update. I see on the web a lot of people having problems with this update. Is Apple going to fix it so we can continue to upgrade or ar we stuck in limbo? I would like some of the new features 10.7.3 offers but not willing to put 2-3 hours work into a Time Machine reinstall again.
