Using Boot Camp Support Software on mid 2010 iMac?
I have had a lot of trouble thus far even getting my iMac to run boot camp, but I now have Windows installed through the graphics drivers on USB Drive fix from the Apple Support article. The problem is, when I try to insert my Snow Leopard disc and install the Boot Camp Support software, it tells me "Boot Camp x64 is unsupported on this computer model" I looked up a workaround to this, and managed to run it through this: http://michael.anastasiou.me/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=22:qbo ot-camp-x64-is-unsupported-on-this-computer-modelq-solution&catid=7:how-to&lang= en When I did that, though, it removed the graphics drivers that I had used on the USB Drive and went back to the black screen of death.
If I try and download the Windows Support Software straight through Boot Camp Setup Assistant, I get this error: http://s664.photobucket.com/albums/vv7/dilpickle2000/?action=view¤t=Screen shot2012-02-04at34711PM.png
So long story short, I have reinstalled Windows 7 using the USB Drivers again, and I am stuck unable to install the Boot Camp Support Software from the Snow Leopard disc.
