Word Definition Pop-Outs

Who knows how to create pop-outs for word definitions? HTML? Your finger lingers over a word and its definition pops out in a balloon. How's it done? - Fabe

Raycote, thanks so much for your indepth response. My initial need is simpler. I am just looking for a way to make a pop-out for a particular word in a paragraph. Like: "It's a bird that can't fly!" Not a complete definition, which can be had in the glossary, but something to give a child some more information without taking them too far from the narrative.

I was working with Interactive Images today. I have a lot to learn. Again, tahnks for your response. - Fabe

"...what I am trying to acheive is a contextual pop-out right on the page with the text. "

Glossaries do exactly that. The word (or phrase) is highlighted in bold on the page; tap and hold down on it; a popup with the description text that you put in shows up; the popup also has two buttons, that can take you to the complete Glossary Index or to the Dictionary.

Please read the link I provided again.

Here's an excerpt: "When you make a word or phrase a glossary term, the reader can tap the term to view its definition in an overlay."
