How do you add Authors name in iBooks?
When I save my iBook to iTunes it shows as Author Unknown. I can't seem to find where you would add a name.

Stop the presses! I took a channe and clicked through what I thought might work and it did. In the end I have a book I uploaded with the correct author's name under the title. It worked just as KT said it would.
KT, I did that and it shows up now in my iTunes window, thanks.
Now, how can I distribute it within the company? Save a copy to a network drive and have others download it into their local iTunes, then sync to their own iPad?
Again, do this via iTunes, export as iBook...load into iTunes, 'Get Info'...add your name where it says 'Artist'.
Then distribute...
Do you mean just on your computer?
Get Info on your book and add it there...
Not familiar with iTunes Producer. Where do you get it?, etc.

Onnie, how are you currently saving your books to iTunes? - Fabe
iTunes Producer is used when uploading books to the store.
In your case, just using your own books, on your computer & iPad, it doesn't apply.
Just local on my computer, not publishing to the store yet.
I'm doing sample books for my company to look at for internal distribution. I'm just using iBooks Author
KT's right. If you are demoing a book to colleagues and want author recognition, I would simply create an author page or display the author on the title page. Does this address your need? - Fabe
KT, help me understand please. I have never loaded anything into iTunes except music via File / Add to Library... How do I add an iBook and where? Thanks. - Fabe
